Ancient Indian Tarot card study points:

The king is roaring like a lion. He is in an attacking mood. Lion eyes are behind his throne. He is in his palace. The Wand has a mysterious violet aura. He is Meghanada, the prince of Lanka. He is also known as Indrajit because he fought against Lord Indra and won the battle.

He acquired many kinds of celestial weapons from his Guru Shukracharya.

Ravana was in the Himalayas for many years to pray to Mahadev, to get celestial powers. In absence of Ravana, he was the king of Lanka.

(Detail story of Meghanada,.)

Meghnad or Indrajit is the son of Ravana. Like his father, he was victorious in heaven. After defeating Indra, Brahma named him Indrajit. Its name is given to the warriors who hold Brahmanda Astra, Vaishnava Astra, and Pashupati Astra. He collected many weapons from his Guru Shukracharya and by the Tridevas. After defeating the gods in heaven, he also took possession of their weapons.

Meghnad was a patriarchal son. On coming to know that Ram himself is God, yet he did not leave his father's side. Meghnad's paternal devotion is incomparable like that of Lord Rama.

Meghnad was the eldest son of Ravana and Mandodari. Because Ravana was also a very great astrologer who wanted a son who was invincible, immortal, and had many powers, so he placed all the planets in the 11th place of his son's horoscope, but because of Ravana's tendency. The familiar Shanidev moved from the 11th to the 12th place, expenditure/loss, due to which Ravana could not get the desired son. Enraged by this, Ravana attacked Shani Dev with his feet.

Meghnad's guru was Asura-Guru Shukracharya. By the time he attained the age of adolescence, he attained many siddhis by taking initiation from his guru in the temple of his Kuldevi Nikumbhala.

One day when Ravana came to know about this, he reached the ashram of Asura-guru Shukracharya. He saw that Asura-guru Shukracharya was getting Meghnad to perform a ritual. When Ravana asked what this ritual was being done, Acharya Shukracharya told that Meghnad had taken a vow of silence. Until he achieves the accomplishments, he will remain silent. Ultimately, Meghnad was successful in his rigorous penance and Lord Shiva appeared in front of him. Lord Shiva bestowed him with many weapons, powers, and siddhis. However, he also cautioned Meghnad that he should never; see a brahmachari who has been following strict celibacy and austerity for 12 years. The reason behind, why Lord Shri Ram had done austerity for 12 years from Lakshman.

After getting the boon, Meghnad once again went to Guru Shukracharya and asked him what he should do next. Then the guru Shukracharya gave him the initiation of seven Mahayagyas, out of which even one Mahayagya is very difficult to perform. The name Meghnad is taken among those warriors who have been successful in performing these Mahayagyas since time immemorial.

Apart from Lord Vishnu, Ravana's son Meghnad and Surya's son Karna, no one has been able to perform Vaishnava Yagya since time immemorial. Ravana had imprisoned all the gods including Indra. Then all the gods together decided to escape from the prison and attack Ravana when he was in a dormant state. Gods imprisoned him. Meghnad mounted his divine chariot in an invisible form from behind and attacked the gods.

Lord Kartikeya, the commander-in-chief, protect the gods, but could not stop Meghnad. Meghnad not only defeated the gods but brought their father back to Lanka by breaking the bonds of his father and making Indra his prisoner. Ravana and Meghnad decided that Indra should be killed, but Lord Brahma appeared in Lanka and ordered Meghnad to free Indra.

Meghnad said that he will do so but Brahmadev must give the boon of immortality. Brahmadev said this boon is against the law of nature, but he gave him the boon that the divine chariot, as long as he fights from the divine chariot, no one can defeat or kill him. Whoever destroys the chariot, sacrifice in the middle will also be the cause of his death. Brahmadev also declared that Meghnad would be called Indrajit, due to which Indra's reputation will be tarnished forever.
